About Me

I’m Diana. Few words come to mind when I try to answer the dreaded question, "So, Diana, tell me about yourself." After the initial dumbfounded look I give as if I've never met this Diana person they speak of, thoughts start to come to mind. I'm a creative. I spend my days thinking about making the world more beautiful around me. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I also cherish my relationships that the Lord has undeservedly blessed me with.

Let’s get started.

• I married the love of my life and best friend 3 years ago. 

Sigh…..

• Then, this ol' southern girl moved to Maine in the dead of winter. (Many of my stories come from this adventure.)

• Now I'm back in beautiful South Carolina. 

• I consider myself a world class chef, though it takes me an hour to bake a dozen cookies.

• I love all things thrifty. Finding a piece of junk and giving it new life gives me butterflies in my belly.

• I’m a nature nut.

• I'm pretty sure I'm destined to be a famous beauty expert, but I prefer the simple life, so I'm putting that on hold for now.

• I have the most cuddly, fat, lazy cat in the history of cats. We call him Walter.

• And a lovely mutt...Wilbur.

• And, naturally, I love writing. I've been keeping a diary since the 1st grade, so the fact that I don't have a key to this online diary of mine is highly frightening. 

• Most importantly, all of these things are for not if it wasn't for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I wouldn't have the passion for these hobbies of mine and the love for my husband, friends, and family if it wasn't for Christ to first show me what love really is.
